29 квітня (середа) о 15:00 год у Галереї ЛНАМ відбудеться відкриття виставки «Симптоми».
Виставка, об’єднана темою «Симптому», постала зі спільного наміру, що поступово перетворився на розмову та взаємодію між студент_ками кафедри Актуальних мистецьких практик Львівської національної академії мистецтв та студії фотографії «Реальність. Конструкція» Академії образотворчого мистецтва і дизайну в Братиславі.
Знаходження узагальнювального поняття симптому стало ключем, який дозволив інтерпретувати різний, але зрештою близький досвід студент_ок обох студій. У гуманітарному контексті поняття симптому виходить за межі медичного визначення як «ознаки хвороби» і у візуальному мистецтві постає передусім як знак, що репрезентує, вказує або приховує щось. Його також часто описують як «мовчання, що говорить», у якому зустрічаються свідоме й несвідоме, індивідуальне та соціальне.
Робота над проєктами стала формою «дистанційної» розмови, у якій з’ясувалося, що попри відстань і відмінності нас хвилюють подібні питання і страхи, а способи мислення та сприйняття світу мають більше спільного, ніж може здатися на перший погляд.
Виставка є результатом співпраці студії фотографії «Реальність. Конструкція» Академії образотворчого мистецтва в Братиславі та кафедри Актуальних мистецьких практик Львівської національної академії мистецтв за сприяння кафедри теорії та історії мистецтва Академії образотворчого мистецтва в Братиславі.

The exhibition, united by the theme of the Symptom, emerged from a shared intention that gradually transformed into a conversation and an interaction between students of the Department of Contemporary Art Practices at the Lviv National Academy of Arts and Studio Photography, Reality, Construction of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
Finding the overarching concept of symptom was the key that helped us interpret the different and ultimately close experience of the students from both studios. The understanding of a symptom in the humanities goes beyond the usual medical definition as just a "symptom of a disease" and in visual art appears primarily as a sign that represents, indicates, or hides something. It is also often referred to as a "speaking silence", in which the conscious meets the unconscious and the individual meets the social.
Working on the projects became a form of "distance" conversation, in which it became clear that despite the distance and differences, we are driven by similar concerns and fears and that our ways of thinking and perceiving the world have more in common than it might seem at first glance.
The exhibition is the result of cooperation between the Studio of Photography, Reality, Construction, Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and the Department of Current Art Practices of the Lviv National Academy of Arts with the assistance of the Department of Theory and History of Art, Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava.
